Antioch – Birthplace of Christianity

Let us recall that the one person known to humanity who spoke for the merits of brotherly/sisterly love and integrity was our exemplar Jesus; he was murdered 43 years before Christianity was foist upon the Roman people by their leaders (see The Bible ACTS 11 verse 26 “and the disciples were called Christians first at Antioch”!

Clearly that chronology was not known to Jesus before his death so his suffix ‘Christ’ was a later Roman ploy for empirical gain. Though Christianity has become one of numerous religions of various beliefs and practices, among which many are visibly questionable, could some Belief Blending be tried to advantage?

Love in a brotherly sense and integrity can best be demonstrated by TASKS which is the acronym for Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness.
Such dutiful strictures are overdue for new efforts to improve conditions on earth by reducing the religious competition for ‘power-over’ which brings bloodshed.

TASKS philosophy needs to be adopted in the most active and effective ways by everyone, whatever their status or persuasion - by education of good citizenship - otherwise present shortcomings will continue because selfish people prefer otherwise; so the present dereliction of human conduct continues towards wider chaos.

For the millions of caring people, of whatever status or philosophy, who yearn for PEACE - acronym for Peoples Ethical And Cultural Excellence - the resistance to change could be reduced by reciting to themselves: ‘Creator, give me guidance and strength to support the needs of the plan for betterment of all life globally’.

To refine this thesis: it’s based upon fact; believers in a Creator could respect what others believe while practising TASKS, humanists can feel included in TASKS for PEACE as a campaign and the near moribund religions resuscitated by focusing on Belief Blending while each entity remains autonomous after TASKS.

Our initial Creator, un-provable and of deep mystery, decrees platonic love among us just as we do for our joint creators of mothers and fathers; those three gave life and trusted all to contribute love and integrity according to the needs of Creator’s plan for everything.

To enhance these two attributes of love and integrity everyone - of whichever status - can contribute to Belief Blending of all man-made Philosophies and Religions by regularly and sincerely reciting to themselves the following ‘mantra of concentration’.

Remember! The triangle is a musical instrument, a means of communication and a sign of the coming together of people by which Creator, You, Me = Creativity represents three forces in equilibrium whereas the cross is a sign of the death of someone.

Who should recite or just deem TASKS? People of every status! Where? In every place of being! When? Now and always! Why? For our own collective benefit by repairing the corrupt ways which destroy much of Creator’s edicts of love and integrity to PEACE.

Citizenship Conduct Supreme

In my earlier book about Godlyanity I drew attention to the Education of Citizenship. I have since researched the subject somewhat and discovered that in recent years in London an Institute of Citizenship has been formed by the government. The subject is now in curricula to encourage schools to promote tolerance by inter-faith awareness.

Without deprecating the good intentions of Inter-faith entities the directory listing over 200 of them shows most are staffed by one person, its registrar, yet only 10 listed with two or three members of staff. Group meetings are convivial and business like but efforts of effective wide goodwill have not caught on amongst people at large..

If humanity is to be attracted to Citizenship Conduct through families, governments and education the population needs to be prompted about what it entails and particularly how all citizens can make their contribution with ‘team’ enthusiasm.
The best basis for the ‘team’ work is by TASKS for PEACE.

One of the first purposes of the ‘team’ efforts is to reduce the divisions causing so many confrontations among humans for the want of integrity with love; recall that Matt Monro sang a love song “Love is nature’s way of giving”; over simplified? Of course but love is part of what life is about.

Citizenship Conduct is: leadership with truthfulness, responsibility and accountability, service and kindness as though you are the receiver, selflessness to others. In all these behavioural ways humanity has, over millennia, been poorly led with greed and corruption in religion, politics, commerce and industry, finance and worker relations.

Citizens could ask themselves: how and why did we let them get away it? The answer lies partly because of our own lack of responsibility, our ignorance, disobedience to the Ten Commandments in all beliefs and we did not vote, care or help. All this is down to the people to require the Institute of Citizenship Conduct to bring PEACE.

Citizenship Conduct is where we need to start plus doing something about the racial, religious and political divides which are mostly in the Negative Onslaught category. The big money enterprises have conveniently named terrorism upon which they glean their wealth, privileges and self-importance; perhaps a little belief-blending will help?

There is currently in 2010 a report from Ofsted which governs the way government wants politics to be taught - seemingly their priority in preference to human conduct - they regard politics more highly than integrity; politics is only a small part of human culture, albeit administratively important, and we are not succeeding in either.

From this thesis why not show concern, responsibility and effort – which we, the people, must make – by insisting that ALL forms of learning are hereafter based upon
TASKS for Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness to bring PEACE for Peoples Ethical And Cultural Excellence for the sake of our children?

Creating A PERSONAL DEEMERY for PEACE with the help of our Creator

By each of us deeming - i.e. thoughtfully assessing and deciding - that the conduct we historically and presently live by has led to wide scale suffering as depicted by war, starvation, greed and the effects of power mongering as well as petty theft, lying and violence in all forms - we could reduce such a Negative Onslaught.

Deeming starts in minds at home, school, work and play etc where decision making is part of everyday life. Human recognition that reduces sin needs deemers to develop deemianity into deemdom as the beneficial thinking way of life by TASKS which is Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness for human betterment.

Humanity suffers from many self-inflicted woes because of the lack of its disciplines. Wide acceptance that ‘nothing can be done’ is part of the Negative Onslaught which challenges our goodwill and ingenuity to reduce the corrupt and greedy among the leaders and many followers or will they open their minds to their own ‘DEEMERY?

Personal ‘comfort zones’ may be affected by acting with good conscience yet one’s guide for people and nations is to encourage the desired PEACE, which stands for Peoples Ethical And Cultural Excellence, for all our sakes and our children’s children.
At least replace the armaments industries etc for industries more suited for peace.

Though people do make mistakes, some deliberately and often without conscience- aforethought, forgiveness may be appropriate as the first stepping stones to peace. Teaching of these things could be improved over time from the cradle to our eventual demise from Mother Earth when we return to our Creator.

IMPROVING HUMAN CONDITIONS by Deeming

Deeming is to ‘assess and consider’, is a companion to thinking and an educating ology - to study – which can highlight human conduct, particularly of integrity, to bring many benefits into effect such as loving friendship from TASKS being the acronym for Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness to achieve PEACE which stands for Peoples Ethical And Cultural Excellence.

By practising TASKS the divisive groups could amicably put public interest first for peace and wellbeing; unless a situation is life-threatening people could ‘agree to differ’. Wide benefits can arise by not going to war, by not making excess profits or wielding power over others; our constant attention about them is deemianity.

The current Copenhagen meeting is simply an offshoot of the 60 year old UN Declaration of Human Rights and the ‘powerful’ countries are still guarding their wealth before improving conditions of the poorest even in their own backyards. Shameful priorities!

The present acceptance among people who believe in God as our maker and guide is supposed to lead them to conduct their lives as in TASKS but instead ideas vary about God which brings confrontation and division leading to war. The leaders of the differing man-made religions are supposed to represent bases for peace.

God is the name often referred to as Almighty Creator and either name will always remain mystical. By recognising that people and all life somehow have a Creator then the wider use of the name Creator could reduce unruly ways in greed, corruption and power-mongering leading to dissension and war.

The incidence of lying and secrecy avoids transparency and truth to gain advantage over others and extends into an unending ‘Negative Onslaught’. Teaching integrity is the imperative unless, by our neglect or disdain, we are prepared for more shameful and tragic things to be visited upon our children’s children.

Deeming on everything is ‘people responsibility’ - in whichever belief, status or circumstance - and we have no grounds for avoiding the deeming it takes before uttering our words or activating their effects that are less than loving integrity.

Mayan Prophecy for the year 2012 - how ready is humanity for a global shift?

The above subject is becoming widely known and publicised but not sufficiently to encourage humanity to give much regard to it so here are some thoughts. During this period of anticipation it seems worthwhile to consider how best humans can prepare for the future, not by fear but by improving Citizen Conduct to withstand whatever.

The forthcoming period 2012 as prophesied is known by science as ‘Twenty-twelve’ about which there are many books describing its evolutionary philosophy and spirituality by which to bring about human unity. Unity can only be developed by study and research into the laws of nature and education to prepare humanity for it.

The strange thing for untutored people is that although twenty-twelve is being brought more into our notice there is very little known to indicate what form or effect will be brought into our daily lives. Primarily it is conjectured that considerable changes are anticipated which remain mysterious even to the Mayan Myths of Prophesy. TASKS?

TASKS - acronym for Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness - are basics to our self-wills and contain the balancing means whereby humanity can enjoy unconditional love as in ‘I may disagree with what you do or say but will love you anyway’ and in need of resuscitation through wider practise. Why await 2012?

UPDATING THE RELIGIONS in Purity of Spirit

As with many things not provable speculation comes into consideration. The prime speculation that arose about the time of Abraham centuries before the presently known names were given to the religions was seemingly pure guesswork; reported thoughts of Abraham were that there could only be one creator to be known as GOD of obscure etymology.

It seems that the invisible Creator was a concept from which the minds of males could dominate the scene. Many contentious philosophies came from varying views of how and why and when the concept of God could be expanded as power bases and under which of the leaders with differing philosophies were people to consolidate the leaderships?

It is not unreasonable to accept that most things from which humans suffer or can enjoy are invented and self inflict but people continue to put the responsibility upon an unprovable Creator or God whereas humans should regard themselves as responsible for their circumstances good or bad.

Such a thesis brings us to the possible conclusion that Creator of un-provable image is in fact in each human and therefore we become responsible individually and collectively. Interestingly the present Archbishop of Canterbury was quoted on the front page of the London Daily Telegraph of 26th March 2009 under the heading ‘God won’t save mankind from its own stupidity’ adding ‘the ultimate tragedy is that a material world capable of being a manifestation in human hands of divine love is left to itself as humanity is choked, drowned or starved by its own stupidity’; he might have added ‘by greed, lack of love and integrity’.

By accepting that there is a Creator, however mysterious in the minds of people, they must nevertheless look to themselves for improvements while always bearing in mind that there are in fact many invisible things such as gravity, electricity, radio waves and more in which humans put their faith though concrete evidence remains ‘secret’ as with Creator.

Imperatively TASKS for PEACE in PURITY of SPIRIT has its place in every belief, religion, philosophy and all human conduct, to enable the best of living to manifest itself by platonic love for each other in ways of response without physical desire; it is time we joined in creating beneficial change so what better way to start than with Belief Blending?

There is no need to be fearful of such thinking except the fears from our own short-comings, ignorance or neglect which can be overcome by the Spirit of TASKS representing Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness for PEACE being People’s Ethical And Cultural Excellence as the preferable pattern of conduct with all its prospects.

CYME (sim) IS BELIEF BLENDING of INTER FAITH Organisations by TASKS for PEACE

CYME (pronounced sim) is our ‘flower’ of the human spirit which can grow into use to form the outer ‘leaves and blooms’ of our free-will and character; CYME (sim) is also the acronym of the words around the symbolic triangle for all media to invoke Civil Conduct in people of every belief.

All Amateur Philosophers – the people - could practice a Belief Blending by adopting this selfless entreaty:

“Strengthen free wills by Tasks for Peace to support the needs of all life on Mother Earth” by

TASKS - acronym for Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness for

PEACE - being - Peoples Ethical And Cultural Excellence by which to enable and ennoble the human spirit in us all - of whichever status or belief - to become CYME (sim) devotees as taught by our loyal Exemplar Jesus.

Inter Faith entities and other beliefs languish in a relatively ineffective climate of respect-ability for the want of a more widespread application of their purpose. Belief Blending by TASKS could broaden and complement the activities of beliefs and practices more effect-ively to recover duty, patriotism and ethicality which are damaged by human disregard for the Creator’s plan. The plan of un-conditional love and integrity was taught by Jesus for which He was killed by those who did not intend to conform to the all-encompassing edict and we all suffer from the continuance of their shortcomings.Can a coalition of beliefs help?

TASKS are the support for the benefits from the Ten Commandments to reduce 1.killing as in war, murder, terrorism, 2.excess sexuality without responsibility 3.greed as in stealing in whatever guise and 4.false witness with little regard for accountability.

Thus The TRIANGLE is the symbol of our togetherness for mutual best interests through ‘Creator, you, me = ethicality’. This proposition for Belief Blending is from thoughts that humanity would be better served by ‘power-with’ entities based upon ethical issues rather than ‘power-over’ which beget many unethical practices to the detriment of PEACE.

No religion or philosophy has a monopoly of good or evil. Jesus was not a Christian in his lifetime but was titled Christ by the Romans at Antioch (see the Bible, Acts 11 Chapter 26) many years after he was murdered. Upon the scheming of this ‘naming’ event the Romans built their empire partly by putting the fear of an un-provable ‘God’ into human minds, and still do, which is unfair to us and our Creator. Jesus was highly regarded in most beliefs so what are we fighting for? Amateur Philosophers – the people - can bring beneficial change according to the needs of The Creator’s plan so why not rally to TASKS for PEACE?

Deemology

An ology is a branch of knowledge. Deemology can be defined as the study and teaching of human conduct to attempt to reduce any greed, corruption and bloodshed among human shortcomings.

Deeming is to ‘assess and consider’, it is part of thinking and is educational in so far as it could support our meditation to create the benefits of loving friendship and integrity among people. In turn, this could, it is hoped, reduce human adversarial and corrupt conduct, and be converted by TASKS to achieve PEACE. All these resulting actions are utilized to bring many benefits in behavior and in relationship development, such as the missing loving friendship amongst many. By practicing TASKS, groups could amicably put peace first for human wellbeing. Wide benefits could arise by not going to war, making excess profits or wielding power over others. Where disagreements occur, dissident groups could simply ‘agree to disagree’, and until a full agreement on an issue can be reached, no action need prevail. Of course, such aims require more deeming about integrity to overcome them.

One’s “deemery” can begin at home, school, work, play and places of religion where personal and group decision making is a constant part of everyday life. It is suggested that schools and other arenas for teaching should contain deemeries – places where students young and old can be taught and can practice the art of assessing and considering actions and concepts in light of love and integrity. Education is afterall the basis of personal commitment in everything we think, say and do, and is therefore imperative to our understanding and delivery of fraternal love, integrity and peace.

To encourage the appearance of a Deemer (which may be improbable in the short term, however we can each become a Deemer at some stage in our lives), it is first up to all of us to show our intention to redeem ourselves. It is not sufficient to simply free one’s conscience through a confessional process; it requires open and faithful conduct from oneself accordingly.

The concept of deemology enables us to form “deemity” to create a philosophy by which humanity (in a global sense) can reduce its many woes through loving friendship and integrity. Within this concept everyone is given the opportunity to create the ways most suited to them for self reflection about this philosophy.

Whatever is troubling one or giving pleasure and requires deeming time, i e ‘to assess and consider’ in decision making, ’now’ can be your deemery. Deemology can create the benefits of loving friendship and integrity, individually and collectively, for one to establish deemianity globally for a mutual benefit.

Try to establish that:

1) Deeming is down to each of us, regardless of belief, status or circumstance

2) We have no grounds for complaint if we avoid deeming in our thinking for better decision making by including loving friendship and integrity

3) Though education is part of the process, fundamentally Deemology commences in the home

We have no grounds for avoiding deeming prior to acting; each action or decision made should be assessed or considered in light of its consequence, and, it is hoped, in a way that thinks about our Political and Cultural responsibilities to the world at large, and to individuals on a personal level. PEACE eludes humanity because it has allowed itself to be led by people of low moral values, which include greed, power-over and selfish disregard for the comfort of people at large. A change needs to be seen. Through deeming, we can work through these issues and adopt alternative thinking and behavioural patterns, such as love, openness, kindness and integrity.

In order to bolster ourselves for such testing times ahead, recall the times when bad decisions could have been better made. Then add the effect of poor deeming resulting in ‘losses’ and suffering from greed and self satisfaction etc, which could have been avoided. Finally ask how can redemption be earned without deeming for loving friendship and integrity?

Invitation to improving human conditions by Deeming

The author is a disabled veteran of WW ll – British 8th Army - born 1920 nearly on empty; reference to it emphasises that lives might be better if the leaders of the world with their defiant arrogance were to deem loving friendship and integrity as essential for human well being. As we are all ‘creators’ here’s our self-interest start.

As God is only one name of the many alternatives used by believers globally what better than to refer to him/her/it as Creator as a prospect of reducing the many competitive and confrontational situations that arise. There is no need to change the name God - or its equivalent in any language - but there is good purpose for religions and philosophies to adopt the valid and wider effect of the epithet Creator though either name will always remain mystical. People are creators who ‘create’ things which they then tend to ‘love’ so, by recognising that people and all life somehow have a Creator who naturally loves us then wider use of Creator in any belief or philosophy could reduce many unruly ways by high integrity and love doing it.

One advantage of using the title Creator would enable people - of all manmade practises, religions and philosophies with differing views - to reduce the habit to use the name God in favour of Creator because God is often used contentiously as the basis which leads to criticism and violence or when they say ‘in God’s name’ it becomes the basis for their greed or power, to go to war. That is unfair to our Creator.

This is the invitation to be creators as indicated and required by our Loving Creator.

Choosing between right and wrong, with the emphasis being upon right to minimise the things that are or will be wrong, is the great challenge of our times. The concept of Deemeries - as suggested in the last paragraph of Redeemology - is to enable people in all walks of life to establish the habit to deem to‘assess and consider’ how decisions which may not come within Jesus’ Concept - and similarly of other leaders - of loving friendship and integrity in which decisions are effected.

People everywhere know that sin is primarily misconduct as is seen on a wide scale of war, starvation, greed and the effects of power mongering quite apart from petty theft, lying and violence. By asking ‘what can one person do’ and upon being told ‘it starts with each of us’ the subject often stops there as part of the Negative Onslaught.

Your deemery can only start in one’s mind at home, school, work, play and places of religion etc where personal and group decision making is constant as part of everyday life. Its essence is for humans to recognise that for the reduction of sin - of which we are all accused – deemeries for deemers can develop deemianity into deemiandom.

Decisions are often sub-consciously in all thoughts, words and deeds and best based upon the imperatively clear, concise and acceptable bounds of everyday TASKS of Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness; otherwise the miseries perpetrated by greed and power across the globe will continue indefinitely.

Humanity is self-inflicted with all the woes it sees and suffers because of the lack of its own disciplines in TASKS. Individual and community relations can be built but where is the guiding leadership, the will, the lessons to be taught or demonstrated upon which to bring loving friendship, integrity and wellbeing into effect?

Wide acceptance that ‘nothing can be done’ challenges the goodwill and ingenuity in most people to reduce the corrupt and greedy among the leaders; or will they open the door to their own ‘DEEMERY- wherever that place may be - in which to ‘assess and consider’ the self inflicted Negative Onslaught in which people find themselves.

Though personal ‘comfort zones’ may be affected by teaching TASKS let conscience be one’s guide to end the Negative Onslaughts of people and nations. The creation of deemeries could develop into guilds that synthesise differing policies to encourage PEACE which stands for Peoples Ethical And Cultural Excellence for all our sakes.

Among the TASKS for PEACE could be deemed the replacement of the armaments industry for others that need loving care. Also, deem the prospect of settling disputes amicably together with ways to improve responsible regard for the mutuality needed between say capital and labour and for caring more for the less fortunate - all globally.

Furthermore people do make mistakes, some deliberately but often without con-science aforethought so forgiveness may be appropriate as, e g, for the Jews and the crucifixion and for Moslems for hounding Baha’u’lah. Teaching of these things could be improved from the cradle to the grave for peace by TASKS through deemeries.

Redeemology

REDEEMOLOGY - An ology is a branch of knowledge so redeemology seems to be appropriate for the study and teaching of human conduct to reduce its background of greed, corruption and bloodshed among many human shortcomings; such reduction can be assisted by Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness.

IF a person were to appear on earth as successor to any historical exemplar of human conduct, say from Jesus to Baha’u’lah of the Baha’i faith, a suitable title might be ‘Redeemer’. By installing improvements into systems of education that redeem us -individually and collectively - many self-inflicted problems could be minimised.

To encourage the appearance of a Redeemer - which is improbable in the short term – though we each can become one, it is first up to all of us sinners to show our intention to redeem ourselves. It is not sufficient simply by the confessional process to free one’s conscience but also needs open and faithful conduct from oneself accordingly.

By recalling Jesus’ Concept and preachers of others beliefs who have and do teach loving friendship with integrity, recognises the mainspring of human behaviour by which to create beneficial affects globally; by accepting His principles each of us becomes a redeemer by redeemology; why not join this crusade for our own sakes?

The concept of redeemology enables us as redeemers to form redeemity to create its redeemdom philosophy by which humanity globally can reduce its many woes by loving friendship and integrity; within this concept everyone is given the opportunity to create their ways most suited for inward reflection about this philosophy.

So any plea in a church, mosque, chapel, synagogue or other place chosen to be suitable as one’s deemery - a place in which to assess and consider- can be helped by adopting Jesus’ Concept of love and integrity as preferable to the mayhem created by urges for status, profits or ‘power over’ others; that is the challenge of our times.

A Creator of all and of our free wills and recalling Jesus’ Concept with lamentations

The name ‘God’ - of obscure etymology - was used by Abraham of the Hebrews, yet it is not difficult, even for non-believers, to acknowledge that some form of Creator did make us all and gave us out freewill to become creators too. It’s not proof of God that is required but goodwill with integrity and love towards each other by way of response which are more likely to be achieved if we accept that an un-provable influential Creator formed us all and created a messenger in Jesus to guide us.

Freewill is the great aspect of human behaviour which gives license for us to conduct ourselves as we think fit within the strictures of regard for others; divisions and confrontations arise resulting from power bases of religions, politics and commercial practises etc. We can conclude that our Creator, having created freewill in us, relied upon everyone to propagate the wonders of Mother Earth with love for the benefit of all living things but short-sighted weak human frailty brings trouble and strife.

The Creator made the person named Jesus to teach love and integrity the stringency of which did not suit many Jews so they fabricated a case against Jesus and cajoled the Roman Pilate to authorise the crucifixion; the Jews continue to regard themselves as chosen and still suffer from it. The name Christ - from the Greek ‘christos’ meaning anointed as was Jesus by Mary – was not added by Romans at Antioch until 43 years after Jesus’ death so he never was a Christian as we have been led to believe.

The Romans had seemingly devised the suffix Christ to make it appear they would behave like Jesus to develop their empire by establishing the religion of Christianity. With all the corruption and killing can man-made religions now teach TASKS for PEACE being the acronyms for Truthfulness Accountability Service Kindness Selflessness for Peoples’ Ethical And Cultural Excellence - which contains love and integrity but, without leadership, religious or otherwise - or do we carry on as we are?

Based upon this thesis - however mysterious our Creator remains, as do many things for example the cosmos - it would have been unwise for the Creator to enable humans a closer access to him/her/it as our demands would have been incessant and we would not have learnt anything from life’s experiences as evidenced today. This is probably why our freewill has failed us and not that of the Creator. Is human love and integrity possible within the educational TASKS by which to bring PEACE?

As for lamentations, people don’t care about life’s ultimate questions only about the ‘now’ of jobs, money, holidays, assets and maybe children’s welfare without grasping that integrity is paramount in everything but how will it be taught? Millions of people suffer adverse effects from wayward practices such as from the ‘meltdown’ of 2008/9 and wars and corruption; were people to accept that they can be creators of things they like best by the guidance of Jesus’ Concept the world would be a better place.

Dear Creator, Please guide and strengthen us all - of every belief, status and situation- to recover Jesus’ Concept which was widely, but not wholly, discouraged long ago.

Seemingly, leaders of men created power bases which they called religions for ‘followers’ under them to ‘belong’. Over the course of many centuries - a tiny period in relation to the millions of years that scientists believe Mother Earth has been in existence - the man-made religions enabled the leaders to create their power-over people but they needed a name for our Creator. Therefore the leaders devised the name of God by which to put believers in fear unless the leadership were obeyed.

Readers may frown that such a statement might be scandalous or blasphemous but consider that, at some stage in human development from apes to what we are today, the realisation came that someone or something had created us and they looked for a name by which to refer to a creator.
